Thanks G1 will probably use The Z1 harness then, with individual in line fuses.what would you recomend individually fusing apart from head and tail lamps? Thanks Paul J..

Fuse box upgrade

Hi All has anyone carried out an upgrade on their z1,a or b to the three fuse setup like the a4 and z100 uses?seems lik a good time to upgrade while i have the bike in bits going to use a combined reg.rectifier as well any advice on the fuse upgrade appreciated..Thanks in anticipation Paul J..

Hi ,the starter button switches the negative not the positive ,if my memory serves me correctly there is a contact to the handle bars fron the switch assembly make sure this is making good contact there should be 12v positve to one side of the solenoid when the ignition is switched on(small diameter...

Make sure no fuel getting past choke sliders either not shutting off tight or there is a seal on the bottom which degrades with time alaso have you checked shim clearances? Paul J..

Rear shocker shrouds

I have a good pair of us type repro rear shocks that have the chrome lifting on the shroud,can this part be removed and re-chromed? looks like there is a small flush pin that can be removed any ideas anyone? Cheers Paul J..

Hi All.Just been round the bike part of the Classic car show at the NEC two small halls took me 15 mins,car part of the show is very good £15 is a lot plus £8 to park if you are just into the bikes, though there are some nice machines there......PaulJ..

Just A thought check seats on choke sliders you can pull them out one at a time found two of the seats were perished on my A4 letting fuel through when i thought choke was fully off,Cheers Paul Jac..
