Re: GPZ1100B1 cam timing advice needed

No offence to Coose, but you don't need a dummy cam cover to set your cam timing unless you're working on a modified engine. For something with standard cam set up the method given by Kawasaki works fine, as one would expect. Olly No offence taken. :) My head has been skimmed by 0.5mm and has slott...

Re: AMC Suzuki engined

I'd say that's definitely a Martin frame, but the chassis number should confirm that one way or tuther.

Georges started the company in 1970 with a frame resembling an Egli, but towards the late 70s made frames of that design.

The lower rear engine mounts give it away.

Re: GPZ1100B1 cam timing advice needed

To support the comments above of our esteemed colleague, when setting the cam timing on a J-onwards motor you must have the top camchain guide in place. I use an old US-spec cam cover that I chopped up, with a section of old gasket under the cover and the guide fitted in place. Only after fitting th...

Re: Grant Saunders frame

Give John Warrington in Malton a shout. He'll probably be able to sort you out.
I'd leave it until the new year though as he was closed yesterday when I drove past.

I'm going to give them a miss, I think. I'd want another pressed one.

Re: Kerker exhaust badge

They're printed in high-temp material onto an aluminium plate, not pressed. To be honest I'm not surprised as the one that I bought a few years ago that is pressed was significantly more expensive. You can't beat an indulgence... Although, our favourite Cheeky Girl-loving ex-politician scratc...

Kerker exhaust badge

Chaps, is anyone wanting a Kerker exhaust badge? A chap in South Africa is having them made at a sensible price, but postage is quite spendy and there will be import duty. I'm thinking of getting maybe a couple, so if anyone in the UK wants one let me know - I think they'd end up being about £25 eac...

Pingel fuel tap

Morning all,

Would anyone have a good 3/8 NPT Pingel fuel tap with reserve, and a 44mm mounting plate would also be a bonus?

Cheers,
Coose

Blimey, that is a steal! If I hadn't bought a set of CRs for my Katana I'd be offering you a clear profit!
