Re: 1983 GPZ1100 A1 Restoration

Hi Zoso

I'll be following this restoration to see how the bike turns out so please post lots of pictures.
It's always great to buy a bike in boxes, you never know what you're going to find...always surprises, some good, others not so good.
As far as I can see you're almost there.

Re: Restoration of a Z1000H (God help me please)

Hello men it's been a few weeks since my last update but here it is. The past few weeks I've been waiting for the parts to be replated...I spent the time with preparing the body parts in order to paint them. As usual all the old paint was removed. The fuel tank and the front mudguard needed putty in...

Hi Mrglee

I always mount those like in the first picture, the opening at the rim pointing outwards. I hope that makes sense to you...

Re: GPZ1100B2 cylinder head, caps and cams

Hi slacker

keep in mind that the camshafts of a Gpz1100B2 have 3 grooves on the place where the rev counter gear is sitting at the camshafts of older Zeds! These camshafts are the same of those of a Z1000R. They're not easy to find ...
Good luck!
