Absolute beauty , great to see another one . It took me over 10 years to find mine (rode a mates new one in 1985 and always stayed in my memory - gotta get one one day).

Getting my daughter from Gloucester station on Thursday about 5.30 pm and a brown and orange Z1 went past looking really nice. Cant remember when I last saw a proper Z1 on the roads.

Thanks chaps, all sound good. I've used metzelers on a Z1000j for years and found them good. If the classic attacks offer slightly more grip cornering I'll probably try them. Cheers.
