Mike thanks for the reply, I have one of those but there is nothing for it to hold onto, I have been told by an ex Kawasaki mechanic, that Kawasaki did on occasion use the type without the square hole, but very rarely,

Hi everyone I am trying to split my MK2 forks (tubes need a rechrome), I have split many z forks over the years and have never had an issue until now, I have the holder required (usually use 15mm plumbing pipe) to grip while removing the bottom bolt, however this wouldn’t work so looking down the tu...

Not to sure on the GPZ, however my Z1300 has the same position sensor, I was told for the Z13 take the rubber cover off the TPS then get an accurate multimeter then put the +ve lead to the centre wire ( there are 3 ) the -ve to earth and the reading closed throttle needs to be 4.97 v to 5.00v Then c...

By everyone
Considering indicators are made from what best can be described as monkey metal can they be successfully rechromed, I know that chromer’s don’t like doing engine cases with are usually of a better quality material

Appears to be sorted now, found a fair bit of corrosion where the lead enters the coil
