mikey, seriously are you sure your chain isnt needing adjusted, it could be lashing up and down on the overrun and noises often come from a completely different direction than you think??

disc brake squeal

whats the first thing to look for on an old Z that has

(a) brake squeal on braking and

(b) squeaking from front wheel?

the pads dont seem to be binding or anything and braking is good;

any advice appreciated

i noticed someone in the club has been reunited with his old bike, ive done everything to find my old A1, it still exists according to DVLA, but hasnt been taxed or sorned for years, i'd dearly love to find it, any help appreciated

really grateful for help offered, sods law, 10 mins after i posted, found them locally by chance, will be interesting to see what results are as have had recurring problems with start up on Z900 and Z1100R, and im sure carbuerration ok, let u know, thanks again to all who replied
