have some old dirty carbs need cleaning.. people have mentioned they get theirs ultra sonicly cleaned..(or something like that)
can anyone recommend someone to me.
the nearer to watford or hertfordshire the better.

upgrading to twin front brakes this winter on my 1977 kz1000 a1.....
I think the master cylinder is standard 5/8 suitable for upgrading to twin discs, but cant see any markings on it.
is there any other way of confirming this....?
does anyone know for sure.....?

changing engine screws and bolts over , some of them won't budge and are starting to burr. have sprayed them with wd40 but having no joy, does anyone have any tips they can pass on..

have you checked if the pilot and main jets are clear. had a similar problem , cleaned them out and replaced the fuel tap , now runs ok

i would check if you have 26mm carbs as well and the right size jets on it ..main jet 107.5.... pilot jet 17.5...
(and are all clear). standard for the 77 z1000.
according to my manual float level should be 25mm.

I had this prob not long ago with the main fuse only , it was an exposed wire from the fuse that kept blowing the fuse.
is yours all fuses or just one fuse ?
