Not unless someone has blanked it themselves. Kawasaki never sold a clutch cover with a blank plug. They were either drilled to accept the kicker or solid with a raised circle. Easier to find a cover ready drilled.
To fit the kickstart mechanism you will need to split the crankcases.

What an afternoon, started by dismantling an old seat to get the base welded and powdercoated, that went all OK. Then I thought I would degree the cams in. Did the exhaust cam and then tried to do the inlet cam. No matter how I moved the cam it would not degree in close enough. I double checked the ...

From the quick read I did, I think the problem is not in the coils but the spark plug. The spark finds it easier to jump from the centre electrode as it is hotter. So the wiring has to allow for the flow from centre electrode to side one. I think the way you swapped the wires allows the primary fiel...

Why worry about coil polarity? Because the spark plugs do care whihch way the electrons are flowing in the high tension circuit. The spark plug has a thermally insulated center electrode (surrounded by ceramic). With engine running the center electrode runs substantially hotter than the exposed end ...

Yorkshire Rally todays runout
A few pics from today. Bit of a late start as the weather kept changing its mind. In the end we went from Sherburn to Knaresborough via Wetherby. A brew and cake by the river. I left the others on the way back to head home due to commitments, but really enjoyed the runout. http://i878.photobucket.co...

Managed to get quite a bit done today. Picked up the frame and bits from powdercoating at Yorvik Engineering and got them home. Put the frame onto the engine, fitted the swingarm and steering bearing kits. Started to fit some of the new chrome nuts and bolts and realise I will need to get some of th...

Wanted- Rear sprocket carrier spacer.
Has anyone got the spacer that goes inside of the rear sprocket carrier on the wire wheel models of the Z650B1 to 3 with drum brakes?
Same as Z550A1 to 4 and Z650F1.
Cheers Crofty

Things are moving along again. All the blackwork is coming back from powder coating and I will also be getting the fork lowers back from Blue Haze Engineering. The lowers needed the axle hole enlarging to accept the 650 axle ends. I am using Z750L4 forks which differed in that respect. The advantage...
