I've got completely standard Z1b's and the drive sprocket is fitted without a spacer but one side has a raised boss which goes on the transmission side, thus spacing it out slightly. The rear sprocket has a spacer behind it, approx 1.5mm thick. This is using standard 630 o ring chains. This shows th...

Z1 Throtttle Cables

Another daft question….

What's the difference between the open and close throttle cables on a Z1?

Without taking them out, they look the same the same to me but have different part no.s. Can the close cable be used on the open side if the cable snaps?

Cheers, Steve

I'd be interested in the results from this method of cleaning. It would save a lot of aggro if it actually works.

Anyone got any pics/feedback?

I use this in all my Zeds. Semi synthetic and designed for bikes. Not too expensive either

Who did your vapour blasting and zinc plating as I'd like to get that quality of finish?

Thanks Steve

We'll be there. Martin is already super tuning the fizzy….should do 25mph this year!

Over 2000 bikes last year so hopefully the weather will be ok for another big turnout.

Got there, by car I'm afraid and I paid for it with the traffic. :(

Luckily they postponed it by 2 hours. Dumped the car at Lavant village and walked in. Well worth it, absolutely superb watching it. Got right at the end of the runway….brilliant.

Have to wait another 75 years……..

Main Stand Stop

Anyone have a design or know of a ready made bracket to allow the use of the main stand on a Z1B with a 4 into 1 fitted?

I'd like something quite discrete, not bits of angle iron and a door stop if at all possible !

Cheers, Steve
