Me and 'Dangerous Dave' (Z1) will be leaving Farnham at about 8am riding directly to the Ace as it's only about 40 mins away - thought we could catch up with members there or meet on route (M3, M25, A40, South Circ), although not too many places to stop on that route.

Phil didn't have a Z1B I'm sure. He did have a diamond green Z900A4 though, is that what you meant? Once the chain is disengaged and axle bolt removed do I simply push the wheel forward and remove it on the tilt to get it past the long rear mudguard to remove the rear wheel from a UK Z900 - or is there a technique I need to know?

I'm looking forward to Stafford, particular as I've only displayed at classic car shows for the last 35 years - me and 'Dangerous Dave' (73 UK Z1) will bring the bikes up in a van and kip in it overnight rather than camp. Andrew make sure its the one with the outlet pipes at right angles to each other a correct for an a4...Paul J Paul, thanks for the tip - I'll make sure it is when it arrives. If your present one is a gen tap then stick it on ebay as it'll fetch decent money. As I'm sure many will confirm the patter...
