It was respoked (10 years ago), had a bottom end gasket replaced (6 years ago), braided lines (3 years ago) and a carb overhau...

As the header says. I need a replacement carb body for my Z900 A4.

A strip down reveals a cracked cold start tube.

Replacement headstock decal

I am now deep into my restoration and have hit a number of snags. The first is sourcing a replacement headstock decal for an american import Z900 A4 It contains information unique to the bike(date of manufacture and frame number). I was impressed by DaveZ1A restoration - he got his from Sunrise grap...

Dave - when I stripped my A4 six weeks ago I found that the loom had never been touched and the original bands were still on the frame. I took photos for an to memory and they are in exactly the positions shown on the diagram in this thread. When I figure the photobucket thing I will post the pictur...

I don't know if you are still looking for a lid. I was in my garage yesterday sorting parts and pieces on my current restoration and came across what I am sure is an A4 airbox lid. I had forgotten it was there.

Yours if you want it - pm me some details and I will send you a picture.

Cheers chaps :| May just leave it to prospective buyer to arrange if he's really keen  Mark - thats a good idea. Hi Morten - just seen your pictures. Looking good again. The contrast between the black paint and the winter snow is very attractive ....from here. And much nicer than in than in all that Norwegian summer rain

I like the torque arm - have you got one like that on the Rex?
