Thanks for the welcome and yes, I do hope to find the right bike and I'm willing to wait until it comes along. As to real world prices as opposed to some of the more speculative prices I've seen advertised, I would welcome advice as to a realistic price range as to what I should expect to pay - ide...

While most of the Zed range will fit, the wheels are Month & Year date stamped so might be worth listing when the bike was made in the off chance someone may have a similar date wheel to help keep your bike original.

H1 Clutch Case

Bit of a long shot but has anyone got a H1 engine clutch casing they would be willing to part with?. (H1B onwards)

TIA.

I know it's not Zed related so please feel free to move it if you wish Mods.

I've used a stabiliser for several years now given the horrors you hear about the longevity of modern Fuel. I know some say it's just a Snake Oil, but it seems to works for me. Although I'd think having a well maintained bike in a good state of tune helps.

A4 looks a nice find.

Junk the comedy seat and that rear scaffolding, fit a set of 4x4's and you've got yourself a nice Z1. :)

Welcome. Z1000A2 was available in two colours Red and green, however the US market got a third option of black with a gold pinstripe (pinstripe was same as red & green model). Alloys were also an option on late A2's so your bike could be a little more original than you think although Square cam ...

Re: Thought I'd say 'Hi'

Anyway, I'm just in the process of importing a 1977 KZ900 from the USA as the right one came along at the right price. Same owner since '78, all original except for the seat and exhaust. Full service history, owners manual and toolkit. Does have a dint in the tank though... However, as I am a bit O...

Widowmaker II.....

Now the Thou has gone, and given my abject failure to source a Shed, I wanted something to fiddle with over the Winter, wasn't really looking for another oil burner but this quite rare 1972 (73 model) H1D came up on the bay at the right price, so I pulled the trigger. Bike is an old resto which was ...
