The GPz head isn't as large as the deeper Unitrak - but I think you may need to allow a bit for decreased compression? . The Unitrack heads twin swirl bathtub combustion chambers are actually smaller than the earlier 'J' type hemi heads putting the compression difference somewhere midway between th...

You could go 1045cc (1st oversize) so you aren't wasting a bore size and there's no noticeable difference between that and 1075. Also remember that the Geep head will lose you 2 points of compression due to the larger combustion chamber so you will end up at around 8.25 to 1 comp which is a bit low ...

H1 hoover pipes were mainly decorative and didn't connect to the airbox.
I've had a few including the one that donated it's running gear to my Z1R.

You need an APE low profile filter cover http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-Z900-Z1000-APE-low-profile-oil-filter-cover-kit-/361391189966 Or modify the original like I did on page 18 of my project. http://www.z1ownersclub.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14312&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=255

Nice work but I think you need to move all of your separate posts of work on the same bike into one project thread.

There's nothing wrong with it. It won't go into 2nd unless it's moving. It's called a positive neutral finder .

Looks like it's forged and possibly Wiseco.
It should have Wiseco or a 'W' within the raised oval on the pin boss that's to the right in your second pic.
It's hard to tell from here as there is an oil drilling and a reflection preventing a clear view.

The APE and LISKA stuff comes apart with an allen key and the bearing is available separately from liska etc or just get them from simply bearings.

The actual pickups are the same it's just the different back plate and position of the magnet on the rotor and weather the rotor fits the GS 's atd.
No reason why it couldn't be made to work with a bit of jiggery pokery to the back plate but probably not a straight fit.

I use the sperex/simoniz on all my engines and other parts and it is fuel resistant once cured. You can produce different finishes depending on whether you bake cure it or just leave it in it's air dried state. Baked it can be lightly buffed with solvol etc to get the shinier semi gloss finish that'...
