So I drilled and tapped the the swing arm and used counter sunk bolts .

Then that just left the final little tweaks to be made .

I hope you are not planning on just the bolts threaded into the swingarm to hold the shock mounts on :?: :shock:

Shock mounts

What's the story with the shock mounts on the swingarm? I take it you will weld these on in the places you have pinned them?

Only asking, coz I am going to hack mine off and machine up some new ones to relocate, as was thinking through how to simply jig them for welding :)

Welding was done by www.hintonpalmer.co.uk Who occupy most of the building that Griffs unit is in. It was done more as a favour than anything else.

Bowden auto engineering welded up the last one I did, cost me £40 & was done in a day or so. Here it is;

Cheers for that :)

Cylinder head

The head which came with the bike had the following damage. Unfortunately I only discovered most of the damage once I had spent a few hours blasting all the paint off: Crack on no.2 goes halfway down plug thread. Thread is also in a bad way: [img] [img]http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c207/mikeandb...
