Re: Well New Project time!
After seeing a few Harris builds taking shape on Facebook I've decided to send mine away to get a harness made and all the electrics sorted out, I have spent the last few weeks asking people in Brisbane who they would recommend and a few people have recommended the same fella! so I have contacted hi...

Re: gpz900r buying advice
I've just sold my A1, great bike and my first restoration. The cooling system isn't an issue if the sensors are working. The GPz900R forum is a great place to ask questions, Craig who runs it also has a really good shop. They're a great bike and have a cult following in Japan were they went up to th...

Re: Z1000R-2
Hey mate,
I have a couple of mates coming round on Sunday afternoon to help fit the block and head, the rest I can fit myself.
I'll post some pictures up next week, unfortunately I've started not to like the bike and will more than likely sell it when its up and running right.

Re: Z1000R-2
Well my new MTC 1075 piston kit arrived a few weeks ago, the piston and block were taken to a trusted engineer who was recommended by a few Kawasaki people down here, he bored and matched each piston, really nice job. He builds Kawasaki race engines for the period racer lads and drag lads down here,...

Re: One way to get the lad off the bloody computer
Great morning with the Lad, tranny now into place, didn't have time to fit the new windscreen so that'll be one of the jobs for next weekend. Hopefully the body will be blasted this week so we'll be able to take it round to Harry at Series rescue for prep. http://i1108.photobucket.com/albums/h416/Is...

Re: One way to get the lad off the bloody computer
I love the postman! New wiring loom from Vintage wiring, cloth bound just like the original, placed new to the new alternator. Just the body to come back and we can get stuck into putting everything back together! Just need to get a drawing on how the wiring loom fits? http://i1074.photobucket.com/a...

Re: One way to get the lad off the bloody computer
I'm trying to keep it as standard as possible, we've talked about what would happen when the time comes to sell and have sort of agreed that 1/2 the proceeds go into his bank and the other have can fund a replacement.
