Hi ..... I have been out for my first ride on the Z1b ,This is the problem Bike starts easily warms up well runs well that is till you reach about 4000rpm in all gears then it breaks down starts to sputter and will not rev thru that range in fact will only slow down & dies off as it gets too muc...

My 1000r2 seems to vibrate through the bars when accelerating ......its nothing serious and it runs just fine
I am refreshing the engine over winter and wondering if it is a good idea to have the crank checked maybe balanced
Recommendations on who would be best for the work and rough costs please

They are just a piece of tube 22od x 17id x 141.5mm long if it helps

When i bought my project with no paperwork at all I wrote to Nova and they added it to the register with no problems at all ...... dont let the lack of paperwork put you off

it was my z1000r in the practical classic article and i rode the cafe as well ........ the cafe was faster , better handling , better braking .......oh I could go on and on ........ but I was happy to get back on my bike
Overall though everyone agreed that the best bike there was the zrx1100
