Remove the end caps on the swing arm and slide the whole wheel backwards leaving exhausts on

Will it not rev at ANY throttle position...…. like going along steady and gently winding her open? Check ignition - advancer unit sticky maybe? It seems fine until you get on an open road .....at around 4300 revs it seems to stutter and the rev counter will not rise ..I fitted the dyna last week an...

Issues with Z1b
Hi ..... I have been out for my first ride on the Z1b ,This is the problem Bike starts easily warms up well runs well that is till you reach about 4000rpm in all gears then it breaks down starts to sputter and will not rev thru that range in fact will only slow down & dies off as it gets too muc...

My 1000r2 seems to vibrate through the bars when accelerating ......its nothing serious and it runs just fine
I am refreshing the engine over winter and wondering if it is a good idea to have the crank checked maybe balanced
Recommendations on who would be best for the work and rough costs please

it was my z1000r in the practical classic article and i rode the cafe as well ........ the cafe was faster , better handling , better braking .......oh I could go on and on ........ but I was happy to get back on my bike

It was less than a year since I found the remains of a Z1B in a garage in Manchester with absolutely no history and no record even on a traders HPI ...... I cracked on and rebuilt the bike and its nearing completion so my thoughts turned to registering it I found various pieces of advice on the net ...
