For Z1 to Z900 webike sell the replacement rear frame with exhaust mounts - which will fit a Z1000 but will not be standard. https://japan.webike.net/products/21644110.html

Z1000A1 has a free flow fuel tap like all earlier tanks and fixes to a 22mm threaded pipe.
Z1000A2 has a vacumn fuel tap, and is fixed in place with 2 bolts. Picture added.

Why not, 18 inch front and rear - perfectly balanced Z10000.
Easy to extend the bolt holes on the front mudguard so it sits right.

You need the same wheels as fitted to the MK2 and H. The Z1R wheels have a slightly different spoke design where the spoke meets the rim. Picture of my Z1000A2, which has had these alloys on it from new. Which are identical to Z1R wheels. 18 inch rims front and rear. Not sure what you mean by spoke...

Last time I painted mine used Humberol Enamel modelling paint With a brush.

Yes Stu it was indeed- especially as I had just had the tank painted! - and frustratingly the remedies that sound most plausible that I have seen are pretty much all going to entail sacrificing the paintwork. For the time being I shall just own it as a work of art as the paint job is great!! Had go...
