I got a blank from bernie at beezeees a couple of years ago, It looked just like the original. all i had to do was take it to my local key cutter with the old key. Should be a link to beezeees somewhere on here

you can use it withought a brake light switch as long as the back one works. Cant remember what year the law changed but you only need one brake lever to work the brake light (does'nt matter if its the front lever or the rear foot pedal). my z1a passed lat week with just the front working, still wai...

thats what they look like, the original part fitted under the battery box will be silver in colour and more like a tin, (smooth shape rather than ribbed).

i use the combined unit from jeff at z1enterprises on me z1A works perfect and just plug in and forget. got mine last year when the dollar/pound was better though.

Still after a rear rack for me bike, Would like one of the short type that jerry had made. spoke to him a while ago and he said he's trying to get some more made but wondered if anyone had one for sale. no rush as its for a trip to scotland in may.

Hi Toy, I know what you mean, Ive rebuilt mine with new bodywork, wiring, indicators and a few nuts and bolts, the frame ,swingarm,yokes etc have been powdercoated but the rest ive just cleaned up. Fully rebuilt the engine internals but just cleaned up the casings etc. I wanted one that looks clean ...

Thats what i thought phil but it was one of the guys who builds em that i was talking to. Wanted to know the nipple size etc. ill sort it though. Might do like hobbo says and ring wyldes instead.
