Outage relay arrived from the US today (labeled Z750 1979), fitted and all now works fine.
I will know every time I brake now :lol:

I guess in that case, If the clutch slips then I'll change the oil for specific motorcycle oil, if not I'll leave it.

So are we saying that the Semi Synthetic 10w/40 oil "Ideal for petrol and diesel engines inc turbo etc etc" that i was recomended to use by a motor factors shop and tipped into my bike yesterday has to be drained and replaced with specific motorcyle oil ? :(

Battery Hold Bracket

Looking for the metal strap that locks the battery in position on a 1978 Z1000a2, paint does not have to be good.

Unplugged the outage relay and the bulb stopped flashing :D
I guess a new relay required.

David suggested swapping the flasher unit with the hazard flasher unit, I did and indicators worked perfectly. :)
New flasher unit ordered.

I only rode the bike for a few miles before stripping but did notice slow inictors with a pause before flashing.
