Brake pads
Just a quick one on the brake pads on a A4. Just fitting some new pads but the one that fits on the piston through the caliper bracket is a tight fit to the point that it does not move. Should it be a tight fit or loose so it moves freely through the bracket.

Re: Engine and Carb restoration .
Let the build begin.......... I know Steve Smethurst does an excellent job, but just sometimes you find a local guy by accident who does an excellent job at half the price. Just got these back the other day and couldn't be happier. Virtuall blast free and super smooth, and considering what they were...

Before i start with any paintwork etc i want to make sure its the right one. I can attach a photo if it helps. I have seen...

A4 Carbs
It's a long shot, but has anyone a set of donor carbs for a A4, any condition.
Basically i need a replacement throttle cable push/pull body, the part in the middle that excepts both lugs from the cables. Paul.

Zed Parts inc
Has anyone used Zparts inc in the states. Some of their parts are priced very reasonably. I know there might be tax to add etc, but just wondered what their quality and service is like.

Top camchain tensioner
Can anyone advise on what to look for when inspecting the top cam chain tensioner for wear. Engine in bits at present and just inspecting various parts.
