I'd always use OEM for head and base gasket and use a decent aftermarket for everything else.
Avoid the repro complete set from Z-Power as the quality on those is shocking now. Really thin and poor shaping. Last set I used just didn't seal properly.
Athena are good in my experience.

Thank you for the welcome.
Interesting proposition regarding the Z900 parts. What parts are missing and how much do want for the parts?
Kind regards,
Mark

Spot on. Always wanted one, but apparently it's a bit of a 'mans bike', so that's me out..

Re: New Member
Welcome,
If you have the skills and the money to spend, I have pretty much a complete Z900 in parts. Been collecting for years, but I've decided that as I have other more interesting projects, I'd be willing to sell any or all of it.

Re: 'New' A4
Well, my Z1R has finally gone after 26 years of fun (to a very good home!) and I've had the summer to tidy up and settle into owning the A4 that I've always wanted. Got repro clocks on at the moment - anyone got a set of ND's going spare?..... Looking good. I have a stripped set of nice z900 clocks...

If you can find a set, expect to pay £3-4k.

Article on how to resolve bad running issues
All I've created an article which covers how to investigate and resolve bad running issues. I'll be continually expanding the content but felt it's good enough now to be of use and will avoid me having to retype answers to questions online. Probably not likely as the A4 was painted in green or brown.

Re: Z900 seat wanted
I have a very nice z900 seat in fantastic original condition.
I also have one which has been recovered with a Z1 cover and strap.
I probably also have a decent seat pan on it's own.
