I know thats the accepted theory John, but if I have my bike just under the cover then on a cold damp day the alloy is covered in condensation. My Z is in a concrete garage which is the worst for condensation. Painting the floor helped, painting th walls with international anti damp paint and putting 2 inches of polystyrene on the roof also helped. Mines the same, keep the revs low through the villages and no problems; did go round the m65 access roundabout 4 times yesterday morning though, giving it some stick under the motorway bridges!!! :evil:

SEP bored mine out to 1075, did some alloy welding to repair my broken fins, very good and not unreasonable price. Took loads of engine bits for them to lookj at with a practiced eye and they were happy to do so and thankfully agreed with me that they were all servicable.

Would def. use again.

Take it off and save weight!!!

Harris pipe used to come with a bent metal bracket that bolted on to the pillion peg mount and stopped the chain rubbing.
