Tear in Z1000 seat
My 79 Z1000 has a tear/split in the seat top side about 1 inch long - what are the options here bearing in mind the seat is in otherwise excellent condition ie repair or recover - Ideas of potential costs and names of any recommended suppliers for West London, Buck, Berks, Herts areas etc appreciate...

I want to replace my current HT Leads/Plug caps etc on my 79 Z1000 A2 as they are old and mixed colours - Any suggestions on good quality ones to use ? Also do they come ready to plug straight in or is there other work required to fit ? Thanks all.

Morning all - I only have only one 763 key for my 79 z1000 A2 - Where can I get a spare from or is it safe to get one cut (ie risk of buggering up the original !!) Cheers all.

Having acquired a 79 Z1000 A2 last year I only recently tried the steering lock - Understand the same key should kit all locks on bike - The key (I only have one) fits ignition and seat and the 3 digit no is the same one as stamped on the grey face of the steering lock key barrel too so is correct -...
