Hi. Sorry can't say just yet , I have a scheme in mind, A modern twist on an old popular theme. It all hinges on whether the one off tank badges i intend to cast on my coal fire ( when the missus is out shopping ) come out ok.

Ideally now need three sets ( YES THREE ) of BUELL XB9 mainly for the rear cylinder sections as these are very close to the shape i want. I have Zed bits - 1000 st and 1000a side panels ,batt box, chrome star...

What do you mean by "dry blocked" Zed ? Hi. you will see that i have external oil feeds (for a cooler oil flow) to the cams, so there is no need for the oil to run up the rear outer studs, so the small hole in the crankcase at either end of the main gallery is plugged and also in the head...

Nice job dude. I remember the bike from when it was for sale on ebay. Been wondering how it was progressing. Well done. . Hi. yeah ,it was a right pile of crap. Only used the tank / blower and some engine parts in the end and even those needed major work. That's Ebay for ya. But it was still worth ...

I,ve used the same geometry as my Wakisaki Z1R which is stable at 160+ so it should be ok, Also i will mainly be using it for ...

As for performance it all depends on what else you have in your motor. I have n...

Hi. Sleeve should slide out under the pressure of one finger and rotate with ease, so it looks like yours is seized . You could leave it to soak in diesel or wd etc for a while to see if it will free off but it's 99% sure that it will be clapped out anyway so time to get busy with the universal purs...

Wheels are CMA's and if you look close they should have ( C M A ) cast on them somewhere , Usually in the rear brake drum and behind one of the front disc's.

You could have the head crack tested which involves treating the head with a dye that shows up all the nooks and crannys when x'rayed or similar. I know a bloke that uses this process at the firm he works for testing samples from british steel (corus) but i really do think you would be wasting your ...

I've never heard of any major problems because of these so i would carry on with the refurb. You should be able to see how deep the crack goes up the threads in the plug hole to confirm...
