hi, just tried standard spindle , its is too short, but have found cbr600 fy spindle is perfect fit ,

i, i just unscrew the axle whilst in forks,{ loosening off the clamp on bottom of fork first on one side } then drop wheel out, axle should then unscrew, and tap out axle from wheel ,should not have to apply heat

the other 2 stalks on rim are for wheel rim locks,

i would take the carbs back off and clean all the jets and everything again, what are the inlet rubbers like, ? you have had the carbs off a few times, and if they are old, they may have cracked when you took the carbs off last time, causing them now to leak

try z power, they list them for 900-1000

if chrome is reasonable worth start at £300

the exhaust is definatley a marving you can read the name on the silencer
