You can take that small bsa Bantam you have sitting in the back of the garage andrew....you just want to show off that new paint job on that z900 ... :lol: No Mate, the 'Bantam' is safe for the time being tucked away at the back of the garage, but it may need to go eventually to make way for a T160...

Thanks, I'm ok with the lugs - it's the route the strap takes from there as in, does go round the tubes or between then - I don't want to keep snapping OE straps until I get it right.

Rubber tank strap route

Can someone tell me which route the rubber tank strap takes - I've snapped an OE one trying follow the exiting route which is round the frame tubes, even after heating it up - Gonzo came round this afternoon and his strap goes between the tubes on his Thou?
