Re: RAL code for Simoniz

Thanks Philippe, I'll have a closer look. It seems they do supply to France but their online purchase page doesn't seem to be working at the moment. If it turns out they don't, no problem, I have Belgian friends who come here often.

Re: zx11 83 chain guard fitment

Thanks for the confirmation Philippe. I've found one on LBC at a good price so I should be good, just waiting to see how much the FDP will be? I'm sure I'll be asking you if there are some other bits you have before long.

RAL code for Simoniz

I've sprayed a few small frame parts with Simoniz Tough Satin Black but would like to spray the frame with a spray gun. I've contacted Holts and asked them if they have a RAL code for the paint and they've replied saying it is not RAL matched and suggested I do a sample with the spray gun and have a...

zx11 83 chain guard fitment

I've just found a GPz750 chain guard for sale. I've cross referenced the part numbers on CMSNL and they seem the same as the 11 but there are 2 different part numbers, 36014A and 36014B. Does anyone know the difference please and do they both fit my GPz11?

Re: GPZ11 Injection

Been a while since the last update.....I'm not quite as quick as Philippe but then again, who is? The yokes were sandblasted a while ago and got painted the other day. Re: New to the forum and to kawasakis

Welcome. My 1st Zeph11 fell over on a petrol forecourt in Spain. I had just filled it up and told the missus (who is tall) to hold the front brake on. She did then slipped on some diesel and the bike went over. She stayed on it and cushioned the hit with her body :D This was on our honeymoon, knew I...

Re: Z900 A4 indicator thread identification

Just did a search for m10x1.25 kawasaki and loads of other stuff came up relating to engine etc. so looked on Cradley's site, put in a GT550, as a random age related-ish bike and it shows 10mm flanged indicator nut. https://kawasakioriginalparts.com/pages/road-bikes?blockref=99917-1054.G-08&mach...

Re: Any french members out there

Bloody long way from me, be easier for you to fly over. First thing would be to get rid of the 'fitter', obviously not a mech. Is he French or English, either way, get him on here and with the knowledge base he could fix it himself, even if he's never picked up a spanner before.

I do indeed, smack bang in the centre, dept. 36 but don't know anything about the 1300. Where's your mate with the bike, France is a big place.

Replied, there is one on DK

but presume this a US import due to the 'breathers'

Re: Gpz1100 cam cover

I've got one but I'm in France and it's about to be used to protect the head during blasting. How much of a rush are you in? I can have it smuggled back in about a month and then posted on from the UK if that's any good?
