Excellent work on the type of repairs you are after and not too far away from you. Have a look at his FB page - he is always posting pictures of his work. He did the head on my J and it was very good.

Z1000J Disc bolt

Has anyone got a spare original Z1000J disc bolt (the flanged 8 x 30 flat headed one)(part no 92001-1294)?
I know Kawasaki still sell them but they have a 6mm hex drive and my originals are 5mm hex drive.
Any offers gratefully received - beer tokens available.

Hello Bill, as far as i know this is original to the bike and is what i have believed to be a J1 first registered in UK November 1981, dont know when the J2 appeared or any changes that might have preceeded that release. Its a deep 14mm head and 17mm half locking nut and its a #7 stamp Perhaps some...
