Cam caps are line bored with their individual head, you would be very lucky to get these to fit another head without problems I think. Been done many many times, best work practices while manufacturing makes it all possible. Happy to stand corrected, however it caught me out with a mismatched head ...

Plates wear limit 3.4mm (0.134 inch)

These are from the Haynes 900&1000 manual, the supplement makes no mention of differences between clutches on both models. Hopefully if I am completely wrong, someone who knows what they are talking about will be along to correct me :oops:

My manual shows spring free length as 33.8mm (1.33 inch)
Wear limit 32.3mm (1.27 inch)

The above tank is solid, photos make it look worse than it is!

Got a z1 tank, fairly dented front l/h side been lined (badly bit flaky probably wants re doing) no badges cap or tap, what sort of cash do you have in mind? wet my appetite and, I will go out in the cold deep snow, hike my way over the 2" of snow to the shed, and take a couple of photos :D if ...

Hi, daft question. Are Z900 A4 side panels the same as Z1000 A1?

I need a pair for my Z1000 A1 (1977) uk bike.
