Try that again! missed out a zero or two! Yep looks like a 76. First I've heard about the star denoting "Italian" how accurate is that info source Phillippe? Owned several Italian reg Zeds & Triples and all had the 'Star' in front of the numbers... Another Italian Z1A that I have ... ...

I have seen Italian frames with multiple „star“ possibilities. One up front, or one at the rear, and with one up front and one at the rear. My Italian 74 only has a star in front of the frame number.

Forgot to mention that it is with a collar for an outrigger bearing (52mm)

VVM racing in the Netherlands make offset sprockets on request. I just ordered a 530 19T hardened with 250mm offset for 85 euros including postage.

That is exactly what I thought, did not expect that at all. This painted tank looks a lot slimmer than a stock one just because of the striping..
