my z1000a1 has 42mm pistons and the ones from z power fit great

I had a gpz550 h1 brilliant bikes used to make my best mates 1000ST look a bit silly once the corners came into play

just life and work getting in the way Mark but do have another Z1000 I am building with a zephyr 1100 front and rear end, picking up the engine next week so will put some picks up soon

I seen a good tip the other day using pipe insulation for 15mm copper pipe around the frame tubes I have done both methods dropped the frame over the engine and removed head and used strong 21 year old son to help and the best way is drop the frame over the engine

+1 for Griffs in Bristol did a storming job on mine
