Can you swap out the cover without draining the oil?

Anyone else have one of these fitted? I found the DB killer a pig to fit without tearing the fibre glass lagging. Was I doing something stupid?

First time I went on it I think it was 3d. Most of the time you see on deck as the old boats only had a small cabin below decks

Didn’t do the clubs in Southsea & Portsmouth much. As a Gosport lad we were not always welcomed by the locals. Not to mention it was a long way home or a challenging swim across the harbour. 70’s was more my time.

The oil filter drain plug on my Z1A is damaged. I’m going to replace it. From memory I don’t think there’s a washer or o ring under it. Should there be?
