Hoping to make it up there this year - but very unlikely to make it in time on Sat for the ride out.
btw Phil - are we having an area in the camping set-aside for the club?

Re: Fuel tap.
Have a look at the fuel tap for the Z650 - might sound odd, but have a look
I wanted the same on my Z1000 - simple on/off/res tap, with 2 bolts (can't remember spacing measurement) - found that the z650 tap uses the same bolt spacing and is about 1/2 the price of the z1000 vacuum happy days

Re: Dyna or Boyer
Have had both a Boyer and Dyna systems on bikes. A couple of years ago my Z became a bitch to start after not being used for a while – even with a fully charged battery, it needed the extra boost of a jump start from a car. I decided to fit a Dyna system after reading so many good things about them ...

Re: Fuel tank repairs
A bit of a way from you, but can highly recommend MTS Classics motorcycles near Milton Keynes - Steve, Barrie and the rest are top quality restorers.
Have seen a few tank restorations they done - including one of mine for a 72 TS125 pulled back from the brink of falling apart.
