Have a look at the fuel tap for the Z650 - might sound odd, but have a look

I wanted the same on my Z1000 - simple on/off/res tap, with 2 bolts (can't remember spacing measurement) - found that the z650 tap uses the same bolt spacing and is about 1/2 the price of the z1000 vacuum :D happy days

Have had both a Boyer and Dyna systems on bikes. A couple of years ago my Z became a bitch to start after not being used for a while – even with a fully charged battery, it needed the extra boost of a jump start from a car. I decided to fit a Dyna system after reading so many good things about them ...

A bit of a way from you, but can highly recommend MTS Classics motorcycles near Milton Keynes - Steve, Barrie and the rest are top quality restorers.

Have seen a few tank restorations they done - including one of mine for a 72 TS125 pulled back from the brink of falling apart.
