I have one only so can't compare and not sure which it is.

It will be for sale.

Re: crankcase studs

Hi thanks for the info. I've just checked my studs and they are pre coated similar to yours. The torque setting is handy too. Thanks again. Don't use the torque setting as they are not seated against anything like the head of a bolt or the surface of a nut is and you do not want to wind them and da...

Re: Z1 valve colletts

I recently used a scrap head to donate a valve to another head, so I should have a couple spare, the ones from the bent valve that was replaced.

PM me your address and I'll put them in an envelope.

Re: Various engine parts enquiry...

Hi all In the process of stripping my Zed 1000-A1 engine - bought the bike in bits but motor complete, so haven't heard it run. Found broken front cam chain tensioner guide in the sump, and have a couple of bits to sort on the crankcases, so stripping it down. Just managed (eventually!) to get the ...

Re: Kz900 won’t rev over 3k

Don't go changing mains until you have sorted the 3000rpm issue. There is no std main jet size for 1000 carbs and 4/4 pipes but 102 won't be far off for a 900 it all depends carb spec ,exhaust type and intake flow. Stock mains on a GS1000 with VM28's is only 96 ( and the same 96 main for the Katana...

Re: Needle bearing conversion

Has anyone changed the swinging arm bushes for needle bearings on a Z1B. If so is it worth doing? It's a more modern way of doing things, but would you notice a difference? Unlikely, given both systems in good order. I believe that from an engineering perspective a needle bearing moving constantly ...

Re: Z1100r exhaust

Are the z1100 and z1000r exhaust systems the same ? All Z1000J based bike exhausts are interchangeable as far as fit is concerned, ie Z1000J, GPZ1100 B1 and B2 and Z1000R and Z1100R. Ref the Z1100R specifically, it is particular to the one model in that it is black chrome, two mounting bolts in foo...

Re: Dimensions

Please guys give me a bit of credit, I know I look stupid but, the slider bolts that go through the caliper and the mounting bracket, I can work out the fork to caliper bolts.

They are not in stock and NLA at Z-Power as of 9.18 this morning.
