Knowing Steve it would have cost him way more in parts and services to build it; Steve always spent to the max on his builds. I vaguely recall him telling me on one of my many visits to his man cave how much he had spunked on the exhaust alone.
You would never build it for the asking price!

Z900A4 Front brakes
I'm starting a big resto on a Z900A4. The front master cylinder has been painted with some sort of paint that it clearly wrong. When extracting it in the bead blast cabinet there is some plating/coating that at first I took to be chrome/nickle, but am wondering if it's some form of anodising where t...

Re: Purple Peril
Thanks Dave It leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, but it should be going today. I will lose some money, a lot of time and have lost a lot of sleep, but now I can move on to restoring a lovely A4 I was given in boxes by another club member who is the polar opposite of the t**t who shagged me over o...

My H2C is now up for grabs. I've put it on Flea Bay if anyone is interested in punching their very own hole in the ozone :D It is now in the condition I was told it was in when I bought it - immaculate and very original. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164314168891 - I'll take fifteen from a paid up club...

Re: Lower Lode 15-17 May 2020
It is with a heavy heart that I am having to cancel this rally thanks to Covid-19.
If life looks better later in the year perhaps will look at another date.
When this is all over we’ll all have the best maintained and cleaned Zeds ever.

Re: ZRX 1200 R
Lovely looking Rex. The prices are only going one way, if I didn't already have one, I'd tear your arm off. Getting one with such low mileage is getting tough. Looking at it I would say it's worth every penny!

Re: Z900 Z1000 rear fender Euro
Looks as if the chrome is pretty perforated. Given you viewed Z1AMOS's Z1A as a restoration project worth only six grand, I would have thought that you have some front to polish the rust of a rusty old mud guard and than ask top dollar. Looking at the cost of re-chroming this part which will leave t...

Friday 15th - Sunday 17th May Call it what you want this is a two day orgy of Zedness which is open to all. There will be a ride-out for those that want to partake. Providing Jerry is willing to give us some gear there will be a raffle in aid of the air ambulance service. This is in no way mandator...

Z1000A1 Jetting
Is the jet sizes in info in the KHI service manual correct? I have a club members bike in that was allegedly set up as standard with 102.5 mains and 15 pilots. According to me manual they should be 107.5 and 17. It's running stock air box and a Marving pipe so I can't see running two sizes smaller o...
