GPZ1100 Unitrak

At long last I have fully completed my GPZ and got it running - well sort of. The bike ticks over nicely, revs freely and the revs drop back down nicely. Clearly it has a very strong engine with no noises to worrry about. It pulls really well on the road but it really is pretty dire below 3000 rpm -...

Great link Z1BMan - that is just what I needed. Went into auto on the Switchgear connections - I was thinking of another bike.

Z1000H fuel injection

I'm in the process or restoring a Z1000H and although she is in reasonable shape, the wiring is a complete mess. All the main wiring front area block connectors have been trashed and replaced with a load of bullet connectors. My question is: Do all the "front main loom" block connectors si...

19 June is the Crofthandy (Nr Redruth) Classic and custom Bike Show (which I run). Over 180 on display last year and we only have it if its good weather as it takes place in the village Hall grounds. For that reason, date may change. Make a date in your diary Cornish bikers. This is a big show - not...

I would certainly be up for this when the weather picks up - probably April at this rate. I have attended some classic meets in the area but, as you say, they are few and far between.

That looks like a really well modified Zed. Personally I couldn't deal with the exceptionally long exhaust but that is a matter of taste and easily rectified by the new owner. Done a really nice job there

I'm truly impressed - I really I wish I had the skill that you clearly have. Restored one of these myself and found it a real pig. Done quite a few 70s bikes but would never take on another of these fuel injected ones. The bugger still doesn't run as well as it should - and there is very little rest...

Have a 1980 Jota, 1980 GS1000S and a 1975 Z1B. What do I ride the most? Jota. It would be my choice everytime. Second would be the GS1000S and the Z1B would be last. Sorry guys.

Cheers guys that has helped me big style. Restoration by weebly (thanks Z1BMan) has given me some great reference points. My Z1000H is actually quite presentable but actually looks positevely mint compared to the bike weebly started with. Must hunt down a copy of paractical sportsbikes.

Z1000H Fuel Injection - clock pictures

I have recently acquired a 1980 Z1000H Fuel Injection and can find little information on this model. Is there a forum member that could post a pick up of the correct clocks for this model. I know they are similar to the Z900/Z1000 but an actual picutre would allow me to verify if the ones on the bik...
