Re: Ignition Leads

Thanks Phillipe that's really helpful advice - Looking at Dyna Elec systems so do you know if the Dyna S or Dyna 2000 would be best option for my Z1000 ? Thanks Alan

Ignition Leads

Thinking of replacing the leads/caps on my 79 Z1000 A2. - Excuse my thickness but with the tank removed, can the existing leads simply be unplugged from the coils or are they fixed to the coils ? Also will both Taylor and Dyna 8mm Leads connect to my coils and what's the difference ? Cheers all. :wow

Drain Carbs

When my my 79 Z1000 gets stored this winter, I will prob be leaving tank full of fresh fuel with STABIL added - Would it be a good idea to drain the carbs (vacuum tap) or just leave as is having run the engine to get the STABIL mix into the carbs ? Cheers.
