Re: Stafford, October 2020

I don’t know but I would imagine a lot of owners clubs membership is in the age bracket that don’t want to risk catching Wuhan flu.

Re: Glass fuses

I did away with the fuse holder buy using two female Japanese spade connectors and a car bayonet fuse, although not original it isn’t an issue if you need to replace a fuse.

Lithium ion batteries

Hi all
I am thinking of putting a lithium ion battery on my Z1B, I am pissed off at buying new batteries every year as I am unable to get electrickery to run trickle charger in my garage, has anyone done this if so is there anything I need to do?
Thanks
Jon

Re: Aoshima 900 model kit, colour.?

Like Philippe my eyesight is not what it used to be, I started Aoshima z1b kit a while back, I made a complete hash of it. It now resides in the wardrobe unfinished.
My standard was never going to a threaten Philippe’s degree of realism even when my sight was good :(

Wanted 28mm mikuni carb slider

Whilst refurbing my carbs, I stripped th first carb and put the components in my new ultrasonic cleaner, great bit of kit, very efficient! It was a bit too efficient as it took the gold green coating off the slider. :sad Does anyone have a spare slider that they would be willing to part with. Beer t...

Float bowl pivot pins

I have just got a set of 28mm mikuni’s for my Z1B, they were gummed up solid, I have got the sliders moving freely, the floats were gummed up and wouldn’t move, with carb cleaner and acf50 I got them moving fairly well. I remember reading a post a year or so back about someone breaking off the post ...
