I like the red, but mine will be staying green, and mine's a Wayne Rainey rep, not a Lawson rep

Re: z900 current drain
If it's been fine and gone wrong without any changes being made then you have a fault rarther than the Dyna S drawing current as a normal function, if the voltage only drops with the Dyna S connected then the fault is with the Dyna S, inspect all the wiring carefully, most likely place for a fault i...

Re: How I've come to own a modified Z1000J and it's refurb
Put a few miles on the Z yesterday, went out on the CB400 this morning, it felt gutless and bland after the 1170, but at least it has good steering lock, the Z has lock stops to stop the forks hitting the tank

Bike looks fantastic, having seen this and Slappa's other Z, the standard of finish is superb.

I've ridden it, engine felt lovely for the half mile it ran for, it's not so much fun to push home, think it's not getting enough fuel through the tap, next test ride will be on prime and no hills.

No idea what model J they come from, but I'm happy to look for any identifying marks, if you're going to Donington on 6/7 May I can put them in the car and you can have a look at them there
