Out of interest, do you appear to have much adjustment from the point where the throttle stop screw touches the wheel? On the carbs I'm working on I haven't actually measured it but it only seems like a couple of millimetres.

For those with a Z900, I'm hoping that somebody wouldn't mind checking their throttle stop screw on the carbs, to see what length it is please. The one I have is 49mm long from the underside of the head to the end of the stem. The reason I ask is that there doesn't appear to be very much adjustment ...

I’m wondering if anyone would like to do a swap. I have a Z900A4 rear light bracket suitable for a long rear mudguard which is stamped 220-40797. I need the bracket for the short rear guard and I believe it’s stamped 220-40796. The one I have has good paint and can be used as is. Failing that, if so...

Grim, If you do manage to buy some cheaply, I'd suggest they would probably need more work to get them looking good than the ones you already have. With some time and patience, start by using a file to remove the deeper dings, followed by progressive grades of wet and dry paper, eventually finishing...

A bit of a long shot but I'm looking for an early set of engine cases for a restoration I'll be doing. My frame is in the 5000s (Jan '73) so if the cases are anywhere near that, it would be a bonus! Otherwise, anything earlyish would be good.
