You might get away with a glazebust to allow your piston rings to form an effective seal, best to repair yours if possible if it runs ok

Z750, GPZ750 A1,2 and 3 GT750 shaft, Zephyr750, ZR7, ZR7S even the last of the 650, F2, F3 and F4 will fit if you want. The fin shapes vary from rounded on the Zephyr to squared off on the GPZ and ZR ones, like yours are now. There may be differences in cam chain tensioner, but all run a hyvo chain....

Yes its a H*****, ex race bike. Was very quick and could point the wheel skywards. Yoshi pistons and cam, big valve head, ported, cut down yoshi pipe. I had been trying to find a Kawasaki engined one, but that came up cheap and local. I converted it to have lights, had to change the crank as the p/o...

Dyna S

I have a Dyna S that I have won on ebay. It is not for the application (650/750) I wanted, but looks like a 900/1000/1100 type going from the size and shape of the backplate. It is missing the rotor which is available new from Dynojet for £15. Is there anyway of checking the operation without fitti...

The 900/1000/1100 kit will not fit a 400/550/650/750. Dyna S kits are made to suit specific applications. I recently offered a 900 dyna s up to a 650 engine and the backplate is too big, shown in picture. http://i878.photobucket.com/albums/ab344/Croftyz650/th_P4210024_zpscheihmdv.jpg Becker needs to...

Busy this morning warming up the engine with hair dryer and heat lamp to apply the paint. Right up to masking everything off I was alternating between silver or black. I did my first 650 in silver and tbh it looked too bright. I have always liked black engines from the Z1 and my first Kawasaki a GPZ...

Have now got 2 spoked wheels, battery box and a suitable sidestand. Main metalwork being powder coated gloss black, decided to p/c in the end as the last two have been fine and tough. Some dyna coils on the way with leads, plus a rear drum brake complete. POR15 tank paint also in post. http://i878.p...
