it might be worth thinking about converting the swinging arm from a LTD to a Z900 by making the right brackets and removing the Z900 brackets . Another way might be to use an earlier set up .Z! Z1A ,Z1B.

Check all the electrical connections including the earth, battery posts. I had a fully charged battery but the posts had oxidized causing high resistance. Might be worth draining the float bowls as well to see if there's any gunge in them.

it could well be a dry or frayed cable as its in 2 pieces with an adjuster in the middle water can penetrate this and cause corrosion .Well worth taking it off and giving the cable and worm gear a clean and lube.

Hi Jay,The 900LTD's were assembled in the US .So it could be they were given frame/engine numbers once they were assembled in the US.
