I think K&Ns these days have little restriction and more the better if you were to fir the bigger size ones.

As said above - Filters are there for a reason and engine damage can be expensive to fix.

Watch out where you mount the m-Unit the manual says it has to be away from the coils. Mine is under the seat to be sure

Make sure the ignition is suppressed too - I can vouch for that one !
