Re: Long rear mudguard

Just measured the reflector bracket on my z1000 long mudguard.

From the bottom lip of the mudguard to the centre of the holes measures approximately 96mm. Hope this helps.

SOLD.....Front Mudguard - Z1/Z900/Z1000

Front mudguard taken from an American import KZ1000. Chrome is in really nice condition with no corrosion or road rash. A few very small scratches on the chrome but nothing major. The underside seems to have been coated with waxoil, or similar product. I have removed a small patch of this from the u...

Re: Z1000 - Warning Stickers

Thanks, just viewed the video- that’s a nice looking paint finish, same colour as my bike.
The sticker that shown at the beginning of the clip, does it detail tyre pressures or engine oil data?

Z1000 - Warning Stickers

Guys, Looking for information regarding the locations of the warning stickers as fitted to my 1977 Z1000 a1 model, particularly those visible when the seat is lifted up. I understand that it’s fitted with 2 No. Helmet Hook stickers, one on the frame rail, the other on the ducktail unit. I do have th...

Re: Minor details z650

From what I can remember from my Z650 B1 model, the speedo and tachometer bodies were satin black. This also applies to the pods underneath each gauge.

Rear Light Bracket - 23036-048

Looking for the following part for my Z1000 restoration:
Rear light bracket, Part No. 23036-048 (stamped 220-40797)

Not too worried if the bracket needs repainting as long as it’s sound and not too far gone with corrosion.

Cheers.

Re: Z1000 - Long Rear Mudguard

The light bracket fitted has the part number 220-40796. This number is pressed into the bracket itself. I assume this must be the original bracket as fitted to the bike when it had the original ‘short’ rear mudguard fitted. Any idea on the part number of the correct bracket required for the long rea...

Z1000 - Long Rear Mudguard

Guys, I am currently restoring a 1977 Z1000 a1 model which was imported from the US into the U.K. several years ago. The bike has been updated to look like a U.K. model with twin disc setup and the correct grab rail with the integral indicator brackets. I have fitted what I thought was a NOS rear mu...
