Re: Z1000J2 Cafe Racer project

...a lot of work, great craftmanship, nice colours but why do people use these good skills to modify a good Kawasaki that much ? :( That's my personal opinion. The bike is transformed into something that only fits for one person and that probably someone else won't completely like. But then again it...

Hi Lex
ask if Pieter can make a set for you.
P.Laterveer@hotmail.com
They live in Leiderdorp, so it's not far away from you. Just tell them that I gave you their emailadress.

Re: barrel wont fit

Hi David if the Z900 bottom end comes from a Z1-A-B engine the barrel holes need widening. If the bottom end comes from a Z900A4 it should work. You can recognize the A4 bottom end at the casting of the engine oil capacity on top of the clutch housing. The O-rings around the Z1000 barrels are necess...

Re: Belgium Z rally 2019

Hi Jumbo the only thing I know is that there's a camping site (free, no charge) next to the terrain of the meeting, there are a few showers and toilets. You might concider it a bit like a little "woodstock". I think there are other facilities in the neighbourhood but I'm not sure about it....

Hi Wayne
does your bike has a long or a short rear mudguard?
The mounts are different!

Re: MK2 rear master cylinder

Hi shorty
the O-ring is not sold seperately by Kawasaki.
You'll have to find one or make one yourself.
It's a square O-ring, the outer diameter is 52 mm, the height is 2,85 mm and it has a width of 2,35 mm
Don't forget it has to be brake fluid resistant!
Good luck

Re: Z1B Cam Chain Tensioner

Hi Glen
when replacing all the camchain parts and doing a complete disassembly of the engine, change the oil seals and o-rings as well .
Good luck with the rebuild!

Re: Z1 Carb parts

Hi RBY
as far as I know these were not sold seperately...you can try to make them yourself from a felt foil with two hollow pipes.
Don't expect good results from the first attempt! It's possible with some exercise.
Good luck
