Have you got the moulded elbow that comes of the nipple on cap drain? and picks up the 9 x 900 hose.

The assembly and preparation manual part number 99939-1008-01 for the D1 shows the routing of drain hoses, from memory they go between rear of carbs and front of air box, one between boots 1 & 2 and the other between 3 & 4, then both exit with carb over flow hoses. Just checked my D1 sales b...

Dry. No torq setting which is rather strange as there would of been at factory assembly. Critical your do up to same pressure starting at one pint and work your way around. Did mine bout 4 years ago with a inc/lb torq wrench starting on bugger all and worked way around and upped the setting, can't r...

Helmet paintwork matches your Z900 so well, it's almost as if it was an option when buying the bike at the Kawasaki shop back when it was brand new.
