Re: Z1000 A2 - seat stopper thingie

Hi men

the Z1000A1 didn't have the seat retainer, it had the same seat hinges as the Z900A4.
The Z1000A2 did have the seat retainer and had different seat hinges.
The picture above says it all, good luck with the installation!

Re: Restoration of a 1942 Willys jeep GPW Ford

Hi Mark I restored the carb last week, only the fine adjustments must be done and it'll be ready to mount. When you start, make sure you take a lot of pictures because there are a lot of parts to change. You also need a lot of different screwdrivers to make sure you can get all the jets out! There's...

Re: Restoration of a 1942 Willys jeep GPW Ford

Hello men an update of the restoration. The past week I took the engine apart...bad news! When honing the second cylinder bore it turned out there was a major damage all around the bore. There must have been water in the second cylinder when the engine was stored resulting in a deep rusty indentatio...

Hello men It's been a month since my last post, sorry for that... But I've been busy the last month: - a lot of parts received a red oxide primer and a coat of olive drab. - I was able to buy a lot of parts (starter engine, dynamo, good brake drums and wheel hubs, a lot of smaller parts,...) - the j...

Re: Z1000st rear mudguard

Hi men as I've mentioned before, way back in the past, the rear mudguards of an ST and a MK2 look the same but they aren't. They're very hard to find because a lot of them were cut in the past. Have a look in the topic " differences between ST and MK2" Good luck with the search for a long ...
