Re: Clutch switch

1 x valve stem - 2 x tyre locking clamps!

Any semi-synth 10w/40 or equivalent multi designed for bike "wet clutches" - even basic mineral oil is okay, 10/40 or 20/50 won't hurt.

Re: Z1300 Turbo

Yeah, "blow thru" set up.

Turbo's are often fairly quiet as the exhaust note is broken up by the turbo.

Defo stick with Dyna - avoid Boyer if possible as it's not as good IMHO

Re: New Project

I got a new "non-leak" float for my Amal for me Trumpet few years back as the old one was half full of fuel - no wonder it ran rough

I believe Wassell do an Amal copy now - not great allegedly?

Re: Talking Italian.....

Had a couple of 850 Guzzi's - nice bikes, simples to work on & go well.

1970's MkII Lemon & and early 80's 850 with hi-comp pistons :up

They're easy to live with and good to ride, plus they sound great with decent pipes

Not square cam covers - can be changed to prettier round type, but needs the earlier top chain guide fitted!
