Re: Fitting chrome wheels to my Z900 a4

Don't know specifically about the Lesters but most aftermarket wheels were designed to accept the factory speedo drive. Do you have a picture?

Zed1015 is correct, I have had the same but saw it earlier when I compared the old next to the new one.

Re: Talking Italian.....

We have a Brutale 910R since 2006. Great steering bike, suspension hard as a rock, sounds like a jet fighter with the factory non-cat exhaust. Can't sell it, will break my heart because it looks right from every angle. I rode the later 1090 Brutale some years ago, much more sophisticated and softer ...

Re: PMC or Doremi 4 into 4 exhaust systems

I remember ordering a PMC set at Webike years ago and received a Doremi set. They said it would take too long to complete the order as PMC had none in stock at that moment. I didn‘t mind ...

most people change out their 6 pots to nissin 4 pots.

I agree, with correct pads the 4 pots brake as good as the 6 pots. Even the Tokico 4 pots. 6 pots are heavier though.

Z1 1973 rim and hub (Sold)

This item has been sold! I am selling a Takasago rim and a hub from a Z1 from march 1973, production code in the rim is 3C 303. There are no codes visible on the hub. The rim is nice and straight with no dents. It had a bit of rust which came off easy almost completely . The rim should be polished f...

Re: Z650F3 running poorly despite lots of attention!

Ultrasonic cleaning became much more difficult since ethanol has been added to fuel. Years ago I used to clean carbs by putting them in the tank for about 20 minutes, nowadays I do them completely dismantled for 2 x 60 minutes at 65 degrees celcius using triple the amount of Tickopur in the fluid an...

Widened front wheel from Deget 3,5x18”

For sale as I removed this from one of my builds and have no use for it. I believe it is from a Voyager 1300 and resembles the later model wheels as used on the J type and others. It has been mounted on the Z1000ST currently converted to look like a MK2. It had been fitted to a ZRX1100 front fork an...

I always use a thermostat with an oil cooler. Oil that is too cold is as bad for an engine as oil that is too hot.

Wow, great find. Put the exhausts on the MK2 and sell that. Turn this one into a nice resto mod. That is, if you are into that ..
