Steve in an ideal world you would be better off with a larger tap (Pingel) etc. However at a constant 70/80 you would not have a fuel problem with the standard tap. Fuel starvation would show itself at 3/4 to full throttle where as at 70/80 you would be at 1/2. Do you have an in line filter fitted. ...

Hi any ideas on clutch slip. A Z1 engine with hydrulic clutch fitted worked fine came back from a run. Parked bike up now 2 days later clutch slip.

Jack, I sold them and they were 1030. I copied the original e bay wording and when they arrived they turned out to be high comp art pistons .5 overbore. Cheers Pigford need the face to show some people I am only kidding when replying to some of the posts. Thanks for the comment on the Harris your bike looks like it has had a lot of effort and thought put in. It is just the way I am hoping the project bike will one day turn out.

On a more serious note check the battery. If you get a good spark from the kickstarter and a weak one from the electric starter 9 times out of 10 its the battery.
